That was the foundation for when the Communist Party of Vietnam was born to shoulder the historical mission of leading the struggle for national liberation, the land of Long An became the place to nurture red seeds, and the two revolutionaries, two brothers Vo Van Tan and Vo Van Ngan, excellently continued the patriotic tradition of the history of this land.

The two brothers Vo Van Tan and Vo Van Ngan were born in Binh Thuy village, Duc Hoa village, Duc Hoa district, Cho Lon province (now Long An province). They were the founders of the Communist Party organization in Long An. The two brothers Vo Van Tan and Vo Van Ngan took turns leading the revolution in the early years of the Party, holding the position of Secretary of the Southern Regional Party Committee during the most difficult time of the Southern revolution. With such great contributions, the two men were typical senior leaders, and the Party and State directed the construction of a memorial house.

Up to now, Long An province has 3 revolutionary predecessors whose memorial houses have been built by the state, including lawyer Nguyen Huu Tho (Ben Luc district) and 2 Secretaries of the Southern Regional Party Committee Vo Van Tan and Vo Van Ngan.
