Hot girl billiard players impress at Thanh Nien Open Billiards Tournament

Yesterday afternoon (June 23), the female billiard players in the Vietnamese billiards team that participated in the 32nd SEA Games and won medals such as Phung Kien Tuong, Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi, and Le Thi Ngoc Hue all won convincingly against the male players in the opening match. However, immediately after that, the reigning SEA Games 2023 gold medalist in the 1-cushion event, Ngoc Hue, unfortunately fell into 1 of the 2 knockout matches before the round of 32 and was eliminated by player Ly Minh Tan (Thanh Nien Newspaper).

After the dramatic victory in the opening match and the right to enter the round of 32, the beautiful female player Yen Nhi shared: "This is not a professional tournament but there are referees and separate competition areas so it still creates excitement for the athletes. Besides, the level of the male players is also very good, there are high score series, while the female professional players have not been able to do it yet".

Yen Nhi flew from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh City to attend the tournament. The 2023 SEA Games silver medalist in the 3-band event confided: "This is an opportunity for me to meet reporters and journalists. Before that, although I had worked with many reporters, I had never met them. I am who I am today thanks to the reporters who have supported me a lot in terms of images and information. Therefore, I want to meet and thank the reporters on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day".

In addition, the female player who competed in the Korean LPBA tournament - Nguyen Le Lien Quynh drove a long distance from Dak Lak to Ho Chi Minh City and arrived just in time for the match. The 25-year-old player played 3 matches in a row and won a ticket to the round of 32. The female player born in 1998 said: "When participating, I found the scale of the tournament was not amateur at all, from the competition space to the referee team... and the way everyone performed was also very good. With this new competition format, I see that the chance of winning is divided equally among all athletes and there will be surprises. I hope this tournament will develop further in the following years."

Besides Nguyen Hoang Yen Nhi and Nguyen Le Lien Quynh, the remaining 3 "beauties" participating in round 32 are Phung Kien Tuong, Luong Thi Thom, and Nguyen Duc Yen Sinh.

Meanwhile, player Nguyen Minh Thuan (Viet Valuation Company, the main sponsor of the tournament) also participated in the round of 32.
