Nhu Xuan met to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Militia and Self-Defense Force

Colonel Nguyen Xuan Toan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command and leaders of Nhu Xuan district presented flowers to congratulate the District Military Command.

Promoting the glorious tradition of 90 years of building, fighting and growing of the Vietnam Militia and Self-Defense Force (MDF), the MDF force of Nhu Xuan district has been built according to the motto "strong and widespread". Up to now, the whole district has built a MDF reaching 1.6% of the population; the rate of party members in the MDF is 31.3%.

In the period of 2019-2024, the militia and self-defense force of Nhu Xuan district has achieved many outstanding achievements, contributing significantly to maintaining security, social order and safety and developing the local socio-economy. The force has launched 20 regular emulation campaigns and 15 peak emulation campaigns, focusing on movements such as good training, high combat readiness, strict discipline and ensuring traffic safety.

Delegates attended the meeting to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Militia and Self-Defense Forces.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the District People's Committee Nguyen Duc Dong acknowledged, commended and congratulated the achievements of the district's armed forces in general and the district's militia and self-defense forces in particular in the past time.

To further improve the quality of activities of the district's militia and self-defense force in the coming time, the Chairman of the District People's Committee requested departments, branches, agencies, units, communes and towns to continue to thoroughly grasp and organize the serious and effective implementation of the Militia and Self-defense Law and the Government's Decree, Circulars and Instructions on Militia and Self-defense work; pay attention to building a militia and self-defense force with strong political will, successfully completing assigned tasks...

On this occasion, Colonel Nguyen Xuan Toan, Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command and leaders of Nhu Xuan district presented flowers to congratulate the District Military Command on the 90th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Militia and Self-Defense Forces; awarded Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the District People's Committee to 10 collectives and 17 individuals who had achievements in activities celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Militia and Self-Defense Forces.
