A group of teenagers in Da Nang ran around the streets with knives slashing people.

On the afternoon of October 31, Son Tra District Police, Da Nang, summoned a group of teenagers who had caused public disorder to take statements.

Initial information said that after receiving reports and images provided by local people about three teenagers riding two motorbikes carrying weapons on many routes, the Criminal Police Team of Son Tra District Police quickly began investigating.

Accordingly, the identities of the three teenagers are Nguyen Trong Duy (16 years old), Huynh Van Nho (17 years old) and Tran Thuan Huy (14 years old, all residing in Man Thai ward, Son Tra district).

At the police station, this group confessed that due to a previous conflict with the young man with the Facebook account "Nguyen Huy", Duy made an appointment with Huy to come to the foot of Dragon Bridge to fight.

Images of Duy's group carrying knives running around the streets looking for people to slash were provided to the police by local residents.

Before leaving, Duy brought a long-handled knife and invited Huynh Van Nho and Tran Thuan Huy to join, and both accepted.

After agreeing, Nho drove a motorbike with license plate 43E1-698.93 carrying Duy, carrying a long-handled knife, Huy drove a Cub with license plate 43AA-211.97 to Dragon Bridge.

However, when they arrived at the meeting point, the three teenagers could not find Huy so they continued to drive through many streets in Son Tra and Hai Chau districts to search for him, terrifying the witnesses.

Arriving in front of Pham Ngoc Thach School (Nai Hien Dong Ward, Son Tra District), Duy's group chased after a young man riding a black Sirius motorbike. When approaching, Duy swung his knife at the stranger but only hit the back of the motorbike, causing the license plate to fall off.

Panicked, the young man quickly sped away, while Duy's group ran to the area under Thuan Phuoc bridge to hide the weapons and then dispersed.

Currently, the Criminal Police Team of Son Tra District Police is coordinating with Man Thai Ward Police to consolidate the case file to handle Duy's group according to regulations.
