To meet the summer entertainment needs of children, amusement parks and tourist attractions in Ninh Binh province have invested in facilities and developed diverse products to increase experiences and create healthy playgrounds for children.
Dinosaur Park (Ninh Binh city) is one of the favorite places for children to play. When coming here, children can not only admire large dinosaur models but also participate in interesting and exciting activities suitable for their age.
Mr. Dao Cong Vinh, Director of Dinosaur Park, said: Dinosaur Park has an area of over 2 hectares. When coming here, children will experience activities such as painting statues, making pottery, visiting the mini zoo, the Prehistoric Footprints film set, and playing in the ball house.
In addition, there are many games that children love such as dinosaur rides, flying cars, roller coasters, etc. The number of visitors to the Park is increasing, especially in the summer. On average, this place welcomes about 1,000 visitors a day, and on weekends it can be double that, mainly students from inside and outside the province.
Along with the Dinosaur Park, the water park of the Tulip Hotel (Ninh Binh City) is also one of the favorite places for children to play when the weather is hot. This is a modernly designed water park with many integrated games such as slides, lazy rivers or tornadoes. In addition, the swimming pool also has a wave-making area that children love.
Tuylip Water Park representative informed: To serve the entertainment needs of children and teenagers, while ensuring a safe reception, before reopening, we have invested in and upgraded the swimming pool system; the water supply system, water source and game operations are all periodically repaired and inspected for safety.
Currently, on average, on summer weekends, the water park welcomes nearly 2,000 visitors. The unit regularly mobilizes the maximum security force, with nearly 50 people ready to be on duty, ensuring hygiene, security and safety, especially for children.
Summer is an opportunity for children to recharge their batteries to welcome the new school year. This is also the time for them to participate in useful activities, improve their physical fitness, and learn more about life skills. Through the survey, it is shown that in order to meet the needs of children for entertainment, playgrounds, supermarkets, shopping centers and many tourist areas and spots in the province have paid attention to improving the landscape to be green, clean, and beautiful as well as ensuring safety for children, while actively investing in and building more experiential and physical activities for children.
According to Ms. Do Thi Thu Ly, representative of Hang Mua Tourist Area (Hoa Lu District), Ninh Binh is a locality with beautiful natural landscapes, flat terrain, cool air, so in recent years, the demand for experiential tourism of families and groups of classes has increased. Since the beginning of summer, Hang Mua Tourist Area has continuously welcomed groups registering for experiential activities for children such as: fishing, cooking, planting rice, etc. In the coming time, the Tourist Area will continue to improve the landscape, expand the area and increase experiential activities such as fishing, lotus picking as well as adding physical activities.
Tran Nguyen Khanh Linh, a student at Yen Phong Secondary School (Yen Mo District), shared: "When I came here, I got to experience agricultural activities that were fun and meaningful, which helped us understand more about the hardships of our parents and strengthen solidarity with our friends. These will be memorable memories for us before leaving secondary school."
Creating summer playgrounds helps children have the opportunity to experience and develop both physically and mentally, and practice necessary life skills. Thereby, they have a joyful and meaningful summer before entering the new school year.
However, to ensure safety and prevent unfortunate risks that may occur, in addition to the plans provided by tourist attractions or amusement parks, parents are the most important people who need to regularly supervise children, especially not to be negligent or subjective in deep water areas or areas with fire and explosion risks, which pose a potential risk of accidents for children.
