The 2023 Information Officer School's Science and Technology Innovation Contest has 10 participating locations with 39 products. Of which, 17 products are in the field of technical innovation models and initiatives, and 22 products are in the field of information technology. In particular, there are many products with new and unique scientific ideas, applying advanced IoT and artificial intelligence technologies in products such as: Tools to detect and warn of malicious websites using artificial intelligence, short video websites applying AI technology to serve teaching to meet output standards....
According to Colonel, Dr. Bui Tien Bao, Head of the Faculty of Basic Sciences, Deputy Head of the Jury, "The products participating in the 2023 science and technology innovation contest closely followed the training tasks of the School as well as the tasks of the Corps and demonstrated the dedication of the staff, lecturers, and students, meeting the training tasks as well as combat tasks, as well as people's lives, creating a foundation to promote the scientific research movement, and increasingly develop".
“The 2023 Science and Technology Innovation Competition organized by the Information Officers College is very meaningful, in which we saw the prospects of 39 projects in the field of engineering and technology presented by outstanding officers and cadets of the Information Officers College,” said Colonel R. Kulkarni, an Indian expert at the Information Officers College.
Speaking at the rally and closing ceremony of the 2023 Science and Technology Innovation Contest, Colonel Nguyen Nhu Thang, Deputy Principal of the Information Officer School, emphasized: “In recent years, the Information Officer School has had many policies and solutions to lead and direct the promotion of science and technology development in both breadth and depth. The school has completed 1 international cooperation project according to the protocol and many scientific research projects at the Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, school-level projects and initiatives, and well organized the research, compilation and publication of the Journal of Science - Training of Information and Communications. The projects and initiatives are all of guaranteed quality; many projects and initiatives are highly applicable, close to reality and the development orientation of the Army, Service Branches and the School”.
At the ceremony, the School Board awarded certificates and rewards to 2 groups and 16 individuals with high achievements in the 2023 Science and Technology Innovation Competition.
