In the 2025-2026 school year, self-financed public high schools and private high schools in Hanoi will enroll students according to the following options: Using the results of the city's public high school entrance exam for grade 10; Admission based on students' training and learning results at the secondary school level.

Throughout the city, there are 84 self-financed public high schools and private high schools assigned enrollment targets for grade 10 in the 2025-2026 school year.
