Mr. Pham Quang Hau, CEO of Sonata Resort (Tien Thanh Commune, Phan Thiet City), said that on the two peak days of December 30 and 31, a total of 80 rooms (including villas) here were fully booked by tourists. For the remaining days of the New Year holiday, nearly 60% of rooms were booked. Most of the visitors to Sonata are families from Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces; the remaining 30% are foreign tourists.
"This year, the economy is forecast to be difficult, so the facility proactively organizes a New Year's Eve party with tea parties and meals within the premises. In addition, we also carefully prepare safety equipment for swimming, seafood sources... to best serve tourists," said Mr. Hau.
