On the morning of April 7 (March 10 of the lunar calendar), at the Hung Kings Temple and President Ho Chi Minh in Trung Giang village, Dien Trung commune, the people of three Go Noi communes, including Dien Trung, Dien Quang and Dien Phong, solemnly held the Hung Kings' Death Anniversary and commemorated President Ho Chi Minh.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Phan Minh Dung - Secretary of the Town Party Committee; leaders of the Town Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the town; representatives of agencies, departments, branches, and unions of the town; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and departments, branches, and unions of three communes of Go Noi; along with a large number of people from the hometown living all over the country, students and people of Go Noi.
The program included incense offering and offering ceremonies. Early in the morning, people gathered at the temple, preparing trays of banh chung, banh day, incense, flowers, five fruits and offerings to the Hung Kings. Delegations respectfully offered incense to commemorate the merits of the Hung Kings, President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs. After the main ceremony was the traditional death anniversary ceremony.
Also within the framework of the ceremony, Dien Trung Commune Delegation organized the opening ceremony of the Book Festival. Before that, the Commune People's Committee organized many exciting activities such as badminton tournament, singing Bai Choi and art program. ( Mi Ni)
On the same day, in Ky Tran village (Binh Hai commune, Thang Binh district), local people solemnly held the Hung Kings' death anniversary and inaugurated the village's Ancestor Temple.
In a solemn atmosphere, people reviewed the tradition of building and defending the country of 18 Hung Kings; performed traditional rituals, offered incense, flowers and gifts to express their respect, commemorate the Hung Kings, pray for national peace and prosperity, and for the homeland to develop more and more.
Ky Tran village currently has about 450 households living along the villages along the Truong Giang river. In recent years, along with promoting the new rural construction movement, villagers have focused on economic development, especially aquaculture, contributing to improving their lives.
On this occasion, Ky Tran village held the inauguration of the Tien Hien Temple and the death anniversary of Duc Ton Tien. The villagers respectfully offered incense to commemorate the pioneers' contributions to the land development, while also expressing their determination to successfully achieve the socio-economic development goals and build their homeland to become increasingly prosperous. At the Ancestral House of Tam Quang Commune, the memorial ceremony took place solemnly with the participation of local leaders, representatives of organizations and a large number of people. The delegates respectfully offered incense, expressing gratitude to the Hung Kings and ancestors who had the merit of reclaiming and establishing the village; expressing the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking" and vowing to preserve the tradition of patriotism and solidarity in building the homeland.
On the same day, at Tho Khuong communal house (Tam Hiep) - a provincial historical relic, and at Dinh and Tich Tay hamlets (Tam Nghia), the Hung King's death anniversary, offerings to ancestors and the Thanh Minh festival also took place. (Le Huan)
