Many job opportunities, workers tend to return to their hometown to work

Participating in the regular job fair organized by the Provincial Center for Employment Services and Nursing for Meritorious People on March 20, Truong Thi Thanh Tam (born in 2002) in Phuoc Dinh commune (Thuan Nam) has fully prepared her qualifications and documents to apply. With a bachelor's degree in business administration, job opportunities may be open to her in big cities, however, Tam wants to return to her hometown Ninh Thuan to work. She shared: After graduating, there are many companies and enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City that need to recruit with a fairly high starting salary, however, she wants to be close to her family and does not want to work far away. Through research, she realized that currently in the province there are large industrial parks with a variety of industries, suitable for her major, and the treatment policies of enterprises for workers are also very good, so she wants to work in her hometown. After consulting the recruitment information at the job fair, I decided to apply to a company in Thanh Hai Industrial Park (Phan Rang - Thap Cham City).

After more than 5 years working as a market employee in Ho Chi Minh City, after returning home for Tet, Mr. Thanh Ngoc Phat (born in 1990) in Phuoc Huu commune (Ninh Phuoc) realized that his hometown was developing more and more, with many job opportunities, so he decided to stay and find a new job, close to his family and convenient for taking care of his elderly parents. Seeing the recruitment information of some enterprises at the job fair, he boldly applied for an interview and was accepted. Although the salary was not as high as before, he accepted it to live a stable life in his hometown.

At the job fairs held in the province, not only young workers but also many middle-aged workers appeared. Most of these workers have worked far away in the southern provinces and are now returning to find work in their hometowns. There are also many cases where, instead of sticking to farming and seasonal work all year round, they have tried their hand at jobs that do not require too high skills in industrial parks but still provide a good income. Ms. Phan Thi Hoa in Thanh Hai commune (Phan Rang - Thap Cham city) shared: Although I am over 40 years old, it is difficult to find a job that requires good health and skills. However, there are still businesses that recruit up to 50 years old for the position of sewing workers, sanitation workers, and factory cleaners with a salary of 5-6 million VND/month, not including overtime. This income is also okay, it is difficult to earn that much in farming.

From 2024 to present, with many job opportunities and attractive remuneration policies implemented by enterprises, the trend of workers returning to Ninh Thuan to start a business is gradually increasing. Innoflow NT Co., Ltd., operating in the field of teddy bear production, is in need of recruiting about 500 workers to work at Du Long Industrial Park (Thuan Bac) and 1,500 workers for the garment factory in Phuoc Nam Industrial Park (Thuan Nam). The representative of this enterprise said that the company's workers will have an income of 8 million VND/month. In addition to the salary and insurance regime according to regulations, workers also receive many allowances such as gasoline, phone, meal allowance, child allowance, diligence bonus, seniority... with a total amount of up to more than 2 million VND/person/month. In particular, the company arranges shuttle buses for workers and provides sewing training right in the village or commune where the workers reside. The training period is 5-7 days and 100% of employees are hired to work at the company as soon as they meet the skill requirements.

Currently, businesses in need of recruiting workers have been facilitated by the Department of Home Affairs, the Center for Employment Services and Nursing for Meritorious People of the province to participate in regular job fairs on the 20th of each month. This is a great opportunity to help businesses recruit quality, suitable workers who meet job requirements.
