Workshop to collect opinions on management documents and identification system of Collective Trademark "Ninh Thuan Apple"

On the afternoon of April 2, the Provincial Farmers' Association coordinated with the Ninh Thuan Grape and Apple Association and the Center for Intellectual Property and Research and Development (Ministry of Science and Technology) to organize a workshop to collect opinions on the system of documents serving the management and identification of product brands bearing the Collective Trademark (NHTT) "Ninh Thuan Apple".

Ninh Thuan currently has over 1,000 hectares of apples, supplying the market with nearly 40,000 tons of fresh apples each year. To enhance the reputation and quality of Ninh Thuan apple products in the market, the province has implemented the granting of the right to use the "Ninh Thuan Apple" trademark, affixing electronic stamps to trace the origin of production, and issuing apple growing area codes. At the same time, it has increased propaganda and supported enterprises, cooperatives, production, processing and trading establishments of apple products in the province to participate in trade promotion programs to introduce and promote products through exhibitions and trade fairs connecting the consumer market. In addition to the support of the State, enterprises, cooperatives, production, processing and trading establishments of apple products continue to improve the quality of goods, design beautiful models, diversify types, and reasonable product prices to increase competitiveness.

At the workshop, delegates discussed and gave opinions on the following contents: Procedures for managing and using trademarks; regulations on quality control and inspection of trademark use; regulations on quality control and inspection of trademark use; regulations on using stamps and labels bearing the NHTT “Tao Ninh Thuan”. Solutions related to the brand identity system serving the promotion of NHTT “Tao Ninh Thuan” products...

The construction and development of the “Ninh Thuan Apple” trademark will contribute to the development of Ninh Thuan apple products, increase income for local apple growers, and help effectively implement the scientific and technological tasks approved by the Provincial People's Committee, including the project of Exploitation, management and development of products bearing the “Ninh Thuan Apple” trademark, following the value chain associated with food hygiene and safety, quality control and traceability of products bearing the protected trademark.
