Musician Nguyen Van Chung publicly apologizes to Hoai Lam

Musician Nguyen Van Chung collaborated with Hoai Lam to release the song " Nguoi het thuong minh " in the album "Chapter Moi" . The song is in the ballad genre, which is considered the strength of the 9X singer, but it did not impress the audience.

After a few days of release, the project marking the collaboration between the two artists only received more than 40,000 views on the YouTube platform. Some comments said that Hoai Lam was "exhausted", "lost his charm"... causing the author of Mother's Diary to speak up.

Nguyen Van Chung revealed that despite having health problems, Hoai Lam still tried to perform the song as he wished.

In an article posted on his personal page, Nguyen Van Chung apologized to Hoai Lam and the audience who love the male singer's voice. The author of Mother's Diary said he had read negative information and reviews about the male singer associated with Nguoi het thuong minh and felt guilty towards his junior. Nguyen Van Chung explained: "Because I think, you are still a beautiful singer. You sing on stages where the audience still loves and welcomes you."

The 8X musician said that on the day of recording, despite being sick, Hoai Lam tried to sing as he wanted. Regarding the opposing opinion, Nguyen Van Chung said that his song was not good enough, not special enough to suit his junior's voice.

“Even though those are emotions that I have gone through many storms to be able to feel and write down thoughts from my heart, I have to receive such evaluations. That is the fault of a musician, not Hoai Lam,” Nguyen Van Chung frankly expressed his opinion.

Nguyen Van Chung said he will learn and improve more to meet the audience's tastes.

The 8X musician believes that after many years of making children's music and taking care of his family, he has not been able to grasp the rapid changes in the Vietnamese music market. According to him, he needs to learn more about young people's musical tastes or their views on love, how to produce and communicate a song... to perfect the necessary skills for a musician in the new era.
