Episode 1 of Our Songs aired on the evening of August 25, introducing a group of singers with many years of artistic activities (Thanh Lam, Quang Linh, Thu Minh, Thanh Ha, Ngoc Anh, Hoang Hai, Mai Tien Dung, Luong Bich Huu) and a group of young singers (Vu Thao My, Lam Bao Ngoc, Orange, LyLy, Pham Anh Duy, Phan Duy Anh, Duong Edward, OgeNus).

The program opened with a solo performance by a group of young singers. LyLy performed the song Huong Dem Bay Xa composed by musician Chau Dang Khoa, with Orange and OgeNus contributing their voices at the end of the song.

On his personal page, musician Chau Dang Khoa said that LyLy and Orange sang without permission even though he had previously not allowed the two to use any of his works in any form.

Sharing with VietNamNet , a representative of the production unit of Our Songs said that the program has purchased the copyright of the song from the Vietnam Intellectual Property Office. The two sides are currently continuing to work and will soon have a specific announcement about the incident.

LyLy and Orange used to belong to Chau Dang Khoa's company before a disagreement occurred in 2020. In early 2024, Orange and Chau Dang Khoa appeared together on the show Song 24.

In Our Songs , two generations of singers will form 8 pairs, through 6 rounds, to select 3 teams with the highest number of votes to enter the finals. Tran Thanh will take on the role of MC, comedians Le Duong Bao Lam, Mac Van Khoa, Lam Vy Da will also participate.
