Cam Quynh, a future teacher, confided: "The first time I practiced standing on the podium, I felt very nervous."
For the first time, Thanh An island commune (Can Gio district, Ho Chi Minh City) has students coming to practice as teachers.
As the only male member of the group, Thien Bao was surprised when he was announced as the team leader because he had no experience. "But I see this as a great opportunity to develop and support the members of the group. I feel honored and responsible to be entrusted with this role," Bao said.
The future teachers have become familiar with the islanders, and the children are happier when they shake hands and greet their new teachers after school every afternoon.
Mr. Le Huu Binh (Principal of Thanh An Primary School) devoted much effort to guiding, advising and exchanging experiences with the team of future teachers. "This is the first time the school has welcomed a group of student interns, so the school strives to create the best environment for them to practice their profession as well as have beautiful experiences with teachers, students and people in the island commune," Mr. Binh shared.
10 future teachers are 10 different stories but share the enthusiasm of youth and passion for the chalk dust profession.
