( Bqp.vn ) - On December 17, in Hanoi, the Ministry of National Defense's Science Council held a meeting to evaluate and accept the research results of the topic: "Preventing and combating "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" of squad-level officers in the Vietnam People's Army". The topic was chaired by the Political Officer School; Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Hung Oanh, Principal of the Political Officer School, chaired the topic.
Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Bao, Director of the Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Council chaired the meeting. Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of agencies, units, academies, and schools under the Ministry of National Defense; scientists in the Army, members of the Project Board, and departments, faculties, and functional offices of the Political Officer School.
Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Bao delivered a concluding speech at the meeting.
After listening to the representative of the Project Management Board reporting the research results and opinions of the council members, concluding the meeting, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Bao emphasized that the project had explained and clarified basic theoretical issues; proposed evaluation criteria and clarified the subject, object, content, method, and objectives as well as drawn out regular issues in preventing and combating "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" of squad-level officers in the Vietnam People's Army. Based on the theoretical system, the project analyzed and evaluated the current situation, pointed out the achieved results, limitations and causes; identified a number of issues; at the same time, forecasted the influencing factors, determined the requirements and proposed a system of synchronous, comprehensive and feasible solutions with a solid scientific basis. Regarding the issues that need to be fully researched, Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Bao requested that the project management board fully and seriously absorb the opinions of the council members, paying attention to completing the issues raised regarding evaluation criteria, documents, and data to demonstrate the achievements, limitations, and causes in preventing and combating "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" of squad-level officers to ensure persuasiveness, generality, and comprehensiveness. Focus on analyzing and explaining more deeply the key and breakthrough solutions, ensuring the feasibility in applying the project's research results into practice; clearly identifying recommendations for agencies and units in the entire army and plans to apply the project's research results into practice; correcting technical errors, errors in expression, and unifying the content and presentation format of the project's main products.
The Ministry of National Defense's scientific council assessed the research results of the topic as Excellent.
