On February 2 (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), Dong Anh district (Hanoi) held the opening ceremony of the cultural and sports activities of the Co Loa festival in 2025. Attending were Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and organizations of Hanoi City.
Strengthening the promotion of tourism potential
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of Dong Anh People's Committee Nguyen Thi Tam said that Dong Anh - a land rich in cultural identity, which was twice chosen as the capital of Vietnam, has become a symbol, a constant of Vietnamese history and culture. Through many ups and downs of history, along with the growth of the capital and the country, the position, stature and appearance of Dong Anh are increasingly developing strongly; in which the values of tangible and intangible cultural heritage are of great significance to the development of the district, becoming an endogenous resource to bring the district firmly into the New Era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.

The Co Loa Spring Festival At Ty 2025 took place in a joyful and exciting atmosphere of the people of the whole country celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam. Ensuring festival safety
Chairman of the People's Committee of Co Loa Commune, To Anh Duy, said that the Co Loa Festival is a major festival of Dong Anh District and Hanoi City, with a long history and scale, organized in the Co Loa special national relic complex, so it is of interest to leaders at all levels and tourists from all over the world. Therefore, the organization requires thoughtfulness, completeness, many highlights and innovations in management work to honor the merits of King An Duong Vuong, meet the spiritual and cultural needs of the people, and at the same time promote the tangible and intangible values of the Co Loa special national relic.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong, leaders of Hanoi departments and branches and leaders of the Dong Anh District Party Committee and People's Committee offered incense at Ngu Trieu Di Quy Communal House, located in the Co Loa Special National Relic Site.
From the district's perspective, the Co Loa Festival must be included in the Project on cultural industry of Hanoi in general and Dong Anh district in particular. At the same time, the process of organizing the Festival is also focused on implementing the response to the "3 clean" project of Dong Anh district. In addition, it is to continue to preserve and pass on the typical cultural values of the people, land, and people of Loa Thanh commune to the next generation, to further promote the national intangible cultural values of the Co Loa Festival.
