Regarding preparations for receiving soldiers to join the military service in 2025, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tran Tan Nghia, Deputy Political Commissar of Gia Dinh Regiment, said that the unit has reviewed, repaired, and strengthened the barracks system, ensuring food, accommodation, and living conditions for 750 new soldiers according to prescribed standards.
After receiving, the unit will distribute the soldiers to 2 battalions (Infantry Battalion 2 and Infantry Battalion 3).
The Gia Dinh Regiment carefully prepares the military equipment of new soldiers joining military service.
To ensure the best training and living conditions for soldiers, Gia Dinh Regiment has upgraded the living quarters, dining hall, toilets, and training areas. Ensuring the best facilities for new soldiers to quickly adapt to the military environment.
"Military equipment and logistical materials such as blankets, beds, uniforms, shoes, hats have been fully prepared by the unit and are ready to be distributed as soon as new soldiers join the army. Training new soldiers is the unit's key political task, demonstrating its responsibility in receiving, training and educating outstanding young people of Ho Chi Minh City. This also contributes to building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Vietnam People's Army," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tran Tan Nghia.
To train the best new soldiers, Gia Dinh Regiment has completed a team of experienced, highly qualified, and ethical officers to manage and train soldiers.
"These officers have been trained to improve military pedagogy, educational skills, and understanding of new soldiers' psychology to promptly encourage, help, and create an atmosphere of solidarity within the unit. Battalions, companies, and platoons have been arranged reasonably to ensure the number of troops, suitable for training and living requirements," the commander of Gia Dinh Regiment informed.
Check the recruit training area before the day of welcoming soldiers
New recruits will receive basic training in such subjects as troop command, infantry tactics, shooting techniques, physical fitness and political education.
"The unit will organize political study sessions, traditional education, and exchanges with veterans so that new soldiers can clearly understand the traditions of the army in general and of the Gia Dinh Regiment in particular. This will help form a sense of responsibility, pride, and determination to train and contribute. Discipline is the strength of the army, so from the very beginning, new soldiers will be guided in living habits, training in awareness and regular behavior," said Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Tran Tan Nghia.
To reassure the new soldiers, Gia Dinh Regiment sent officers to the Military Command of districts, towns, and Thu Duc City to meet with the soldiers' families to promote and encourage them.
Gia Dinh Regiment prepares full materials and facilities to ensure training of new soldiers.
"When receiving new soldiers, we will organize meetings and dialogues with the soldiers' relatives, providing information about living, studying and training conditions so that families can feel secure in sending their children to the military environment. In addition, Gia Dinh Regiment also plans to organize cultural and sports exchanges to create a warm and close atmosphere, helping new soldiers quickly integrate into the unit," the unit commander shared.
In 2025, Gia Dinh Regiment is determined to do a good job of receiving and training new soldiers to ensure absolute safety, improve training quality, and contribute to building a strong, comprehensive, and exemplary unit.
