Samsung still can't solve the problem with the S Pen's magnetic accessory
Android Central writer Andrew Myrick discovered this while using the Fiberborne case with the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which led to a warning that appeared: "Magnetic accessories can interfere with your S Pen: The magnets in the accessory can disrupt the signal the S Pen sends to the phone, resulting in incorrect writing or unintended Air commands."
This isn't new, as Galaxy S24 Ultra users have been reporting similar issues for months, saying magnetic accessories can cause erratic behavior or cause the S Pen to become unresponsive. The problem is that Samsung hasn't fixed this weakness yet, with a warning message like its predecessor.
Myrick also noted that when he attached the MagSafe charger to Samsung’s official silicone case, the warning didn’t appear, suggesting that thicker cases may help reduce interference by creating a gap between the S Pen and the magnetic accessory.
Samsung has yet to comment on the matter. Users who rely on the S Pen may want to be cautious when using magnetic accessories with the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
