* On December 1, the Ministry of Education and Training signed a decision approving textbooks for subjects and educational activities for grade 5 and textbooks for Chinese language for grades 3 and 4 used in general education institutions.
Accordingly, Chinese textbooks are officially put into use at the primary level. Therefore, in addition to English, primary school students will have a new option when learning a foreign language: Chinese.
Discussing the introduction of Chinese into schools, Mr. Dao Cong Loi - Deputy Director of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training said that this is normal, because in addition to Chinese, the Ministry has also issued textbooks for Korean, Japanese, and French for grade 3 to use in general education institutions. "In Nghe An, currently, Chinese is not taught in schools, but I think in the future, the need for Chinese will be used more and more. And if Chinese is opened, many students and parents will register to study" - Mr. Loi said.
* At the North Central Trade Fair, there are many products with the strong identity of Nghe An mountainous region. People bring agricultural products raised and grown in the mountains to the city not only for consumption, but also to promote OCOP products of their homeland.
The 2023 North Central Region - Nghe An Industry and Trade Fair is a national event, taking place from December 5 to 11. Nghe An province has 150 booths out of a total of 250 booths on display here. Of which, the number of booths from mountainous districts accounts for the majority with many unique and high-quality products.
* Faced with the situation of people dumping garbage and dead pigs indiscriminately on the canal system passing through the area, Yen Thanh district has strengthened solutions to protect the domestic water supply, contributing to protecting people's health.
To protect water resources and improve the efficiency of domestic waste treatment, in the coming time, Yen Thanh district is directing localities to continue to propagate to all classes of people to further raise awareness of waste classification at source, and appropriate waste treatment so that recycling and landfill activities can be carried out synchronously and effectively. Strengthen inspection, examination and handling of violations in solid waste management at production and business establishments, market areas and solid waste collection and treatment activities. Do not discharge waste into canals, thereby contributing to improving environmental protection and protecting clean water sources for people.
