The great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos developed from the traditional relationship founded by President Ho Chi Minh, Prince Souphanouvong, President Kaysone Phomvihane and revolutionary leaders of the two countries; developed by generations of leaders, revolutionary soldiers and people of the two countries into a loyal, pure, special, exemplary and rare relationship, which is a priceless asset of the people of the two countries.

President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: "Vietnam - Laos, our two countries, have a deeper friendship than the Red River and the Mekong Delta". President Kaysone Phomvihane also affirmed: "In the history of world revolution, there have been shining examples of proletarian internationalism, but nowhere and never before has there been such a special, long-lasting, and comprehensive solidarity and fighting alliance"; "mountains may wear away, rivers may dry up, but the friendship between Laos and Vietnam will forever be stronger than mountains and rivers".

Especially since the two countries carried out the renovation process with many difficulties and challenges, but with the good tradition of the special relationship and under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the relationship between the two countries has been increasingly strengthened, expanded and achieved great victories.

The delegation of the Lao National Assembly's Committee on Planning, Finance and Audit expressed their infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh; he fought and sacrificed his whole life for the cause of national liberation of Vietnam and people around the world; he, together with the leaders of the Lao Party and State: President Kaysone Phomvihane and Prince Souphanouvong, fought tirelessly for the cause of peace of the Vietnamese people and the people of all Lao ethnic groups.

The delegation also offered flowers and incense at the ancestral temple of President Ho Chi Minh on Chung Son mountain and visited his maternal hometown.

On the same day, the delegation also visited VSIP and WHA Industrial Parks to learn about the environment, mechanisms and policies to attract investment in Nghe An province.

At WHA Industrial Zone 1 - Nghe An, the delegation listened to the WHA Board of Directors give a brief introduction about the industrial park. The highlight of WHA is a comprehensive, modern, synchronous industrial park, built and managed to ensure good requirements for a sustainable environment. The focus is on developing industrial types: electronics, agricultural, forestry and fishery processing, wine, beer, soft drinks, construction materials production, mineral processing, machine assembly, textiles, plastics, consumer goods, office equipment... limiting the placement of industries that can cause environmental pollution.

At VSIP Industrial Park, the management board provided an overview of the investment attraction situation. By the end of November 2023, VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park had attracted 42 investors (44 projects) with a leased land area of ​​238 hectares out of a total factory construction land area of ​​250.63 hectares, achieving an occupancy rate of 95%. Not only has the occupancy progress met requirements, VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park is expected to attract more than 65,000 local workers when all factories are put into operation.
