* Celebrating National Day on September 2nd is an opportunity for each person to reflect on themselves, to better understand, love, and remember the immeasurable contributions of President Ho Chi Minh – who dedicated his life to the nation as his purpose and ideal of service. Independence was achieved for the people and by the people. It was the people who used their strength, intellect, and even sacrificed their blood and lives to protect that precious independence and freedom.
National Day is an occasion for every citizen to be proud of the glorious history of the nation; to reflect on the noble and sacred aspirations of President Ho Chi Minh, and to unite together, multiplying the desire for change and building a self-reliant, strong, and happy Vietnam.

* On September 2nd, thousands of people from all over the country flocked to the Kim Lien National Special Historical Site (Nam Dan). The National Day holiday on September 2nd is an opportunity for every citizen to remember and express gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh. Visiting his birthplace is also a way for people to review history, and to gain further motivation, spirit, and responsibility to study and follow his thoughts, example, and morals.

* On the morning of September 2nd, Dien Thai commune, Dien Chau district, held a ceremony to celebrate its 70th anniversary and receive the certificate recognizing it as an advanced new rural commune.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 collectives and 2 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the advanced new rural development movement. The Dien Chau District People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 3 individuals for their outstanding achievements in the advanced new rural development movement in the locality.

* Harvesting rice using combine harvesters has been practiced by farmers in Yen Thanh district in particular, and Nghe An province in general, for many years. However, for the people of My Khanh hamlet, Khanh Thanh commune (Yen Thanh district), using a combine harvester with a dragon-shaped nozzle is the most effective. The advantage of this type of rice harvester is that the driver's cabin has air conditioning, so it can operate all day without fear of hot weather.

* On the evening of September 1st, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu (Dong Tien Hamlet, Nghi Thuy Ward, Cua Lo Town) was fishing for squid near Mat Island when he caught a large fish. After bringing it ashore, many curious locals came to see it, and several experienced fishermen identified it as a rare golden snapper.

* On the evening of September 1st, during patrols and inspections throughout the city, including major routes such as Tran Phu, Truong Thi, and Ho Tung Mau, the Traffic Police and Order Team of Vinh City Police discovered and handled 36 cases of young people driving motorcycles without helmets. Most of the vehicles lacked license plates and rearview mirrors, and some groups were using modified or homemade motorcycles; 27 motorcycles of various types were temporarily seized.
