* Celebrating National Day September 2 is an opportunity for each person to look back at themselves to better understand, love and engrave the immense merit of President Ho Chi Minh - the man who devoted his life to the nation as his reason for living and his ideal of service. Gaining independence is for the people and also by the people. It is the people who have used their efforts, intelligence and sacrificed their blood and bones to protect that precious independence and freedom.
National Day is an occasion for every citizen to be proud of the glorious history of the nation; to think about the lofty and sacred aspirations of the President to unite together, multiply the desire for change, and build an independent, self-reliant, and happy Vietnam.
* On September 2, thousands of people from all over the country visited the Kim Lien National Special Relic Site (Nam Dan). The National Day on September 2 is an opportunity for each person to remember and show gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh. Visiting Uncle Ho's hometown is also a way for each person to review history, adding motivation, spirit and responsibility to study and follow his ideology, example and morality.
* On the morning of September 2, Dien Thai commune, Dien Chau district held a ceremony to celebrate its 70th anniversary and receive a certificate of recognition for achieving advanced new rural standards.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 groups and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to build advanced new rural areas. The People's Committee of Dien Chau district also awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 groups and 3 individuals with outstanding achievements in the movement to build advanced new rural areas in the locality.
* Harvesting rice with a combine harvester has been applied by farmers in Yen Thanh district in particular and Nghe An in general for many years. However, for the people of My Khanh hamlet, Khanh Thanh commune (Yen Thanh), using a water cannon combine harvester is more effective. The advantage of this type of rice harvester is that the cockpit is air-conditioned, so it can operate all day without fear of hot weather.
* On the evening of September 1, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu (Dong Tien block, Nghi Thuy ward, Cua Lo town) went squid fishing near Mat island and caught a large fish. After bringing it ashore, many curious people came to see and many experienced fishermen identified it as a rare golden croaker.
* On the evening of September 1, through patrolling and controlling the entire city, including main routes such as Tran Phu, Truong Thi, Ho Tung Mau... The Traffic Police - Order Team, Vinh City Police discovered and handled 36 cases of young people driving motorbikes without helmets, most of the vehicles did not have license plates or rearview mirrors, including groups using modified and homemade motorbikes; temporarily detained 27 motorbikes of various types.
