Nghe An: Highlights on August 16

* On the morning of August 16, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province chaired the regular citizen reception session in August 2023. To thoroughly resolve the petition and ensure the legitimate and legal rights of citizens, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung assigned the People's Committee of Quynh Luu district to study a plan to handle the compensation and resettlement of the land area that was illegally recovered for Mr. Tran Ba Dinh.

* Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued a Decision approving the construction planning of Dien Chau district, Nghe An province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, in which the orientation is to build Dien Chau into a town-level urban area before 2030.

* On the morning of August 16, in Vinh City, the Steering Committee for Crime Prevention, Social Evils and Building a Movement for the Whole People to Protect National Security of Ha Huy Tap Ward organized the National Day for the Whole People to Protect National Security. Attending the festival were comrades Hoang Nghia Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee; along with leaders of the Vinh City and Provincial Police and a large number of officers and people of the ward.

* Starting from the beginning of August, many localities across the province have been implementing the assignment and transfer of teachers. This is a difficult problem that has been occurring for many years in the context of the increasingly complicated situation of local teacher surplus and shortage.

* The final items such as asphalt paving, installation of median strips, lighting systems, signs... are being accelerated by the units, striving to open the Nghi Son - Dien Chau expressway to traffic on September 2nd under the direction of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Transport.

* After a long period of "output congestion", from the beginning of July 2023 until now, wood export orders of enterprises in Nghe An are starting to increase again.

* Up to now, in Nghe An province, there are 399 karaoke establishments, bars, pubs under state management of fire prevention and fighting. Of these, 174 establishments have been suspended, 221 establishments have voluntarily stopped operating, only 4 establishments in Vinh city are eligible to operate.
