* During a working trip to New Delhi, India, Comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province worked with representatives of Adani Group.
Adani is one of the largest economic groups in India operating in the fields of seaports, transportation, logistics, energy, digital technology, cement production, mining... in more than 50 countries around the world, with a capitalization value of about 200 billion USD.
In the field of port investment alone, Adani is among the top 5 fastest growing companies in the world and is the leading enterprise in India in developing, operating ports and integrated logistics systems, accounting for 25% of India's port capacity.
In particular, it is known that Adani Group is currently very interested and committed to long-term investment in Vietnam with a total investment capital of about 10 billion USD, not only in the fields of seaports and logistics, but also in the fields of energy and digital technology.
In particular, Adani wants to build a green seaport ecosystem and invest in wind power and solar power plants in Vietnam, with a total capital of about 3 billion USD, in line with Vietnam's development strategy.
The investment objectives of Adani Group are in line with Nghe An's investment development orientation. Therefore, through Mr. Ashok Wadhawan, Provincial Party Secretary Thai Thanh Quy invited the Group's leaders and companies in Adani's ecosystem to research and invest in Nghe An, especially in the fields of seaports, logistics, renewable energy, etc. in the process of concretizing the investment strategy in Vietnam. These are all areas in which Nghe An has advantages and is calling for investment.
* Previously, working with the Automotive Parts Manufacturers Association of India (ACMA), the Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee invited the Association to visit and work in Nghe An; at the same time, he was interested in acting as a bridge to promote member companies and corporations to come and research and invest in the province.
* On the morning of December 15, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the regular citizen reception session in December 2023.
Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung received citizen Nguyen Thi Sam, residing in Block 5, Tan Ky Town (Tan Ky District). Ms. Sam complained that Tan Ky District People's Committee did not issue a land use right certificate for plots 154 and 187, on map 15, Nghia Hoan Commune, Tan Ky District to her family according to regulations, affecting the family's legitimate rights and interests.
After listening to the opinions of relevant parties, to ensure the legal and legitimate rights of citizens, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung assigned the Chairman of the Tan Ky District People's Committee to establish a working group to review and confirm specifically and accurately the origin, usage process, and purchase and sale process. On that basis, determine whether the two plots of land are eligible for land use right certificates to citizens or not, then respond to citizens in writing before January 30, 2024 and report to the Provincial People's Reception Council.
* On the morning of December 15, Nghe An Customs Department held a conference to summarize 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.
The report at the conference showed that in 2023, 475 enterprises participated in customs procedures with a total of 56,847 import and export declarations (an increase of 17.5% over the same period in 2022).
As a result, the total import and export turnover reached 3.141 billion USD, of which export turnover was 1.871 billion USD and import turnover was 1.269 billion USD (up 7% over the same period in 2022).
* The historic flash flood in October 2022 caused hundreds of households in Ky Son district to lose their homes. Recently, the State has provided funding to build a resettlement area for people in the flash flood area, and the project is expected to be put into use by December 31, 2023.
The project "Construction of infrastructure for emergency resettlement areas for people in Muong Xen town and Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district" in Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune started construction on November 15, with the People's Committee of Ky Son district as the investor. The project covers an area of 3.9 hectares, for 54 households resettled in flash flood areas, each plot of land has an area of 210-230 m2. There are 3 internal traffic routes in the resettlement area. The total investment for this project is 31.5 billion VND, of which the central budget reserve is 30 billion VND, and the Ky Son district budget is 1.5 billion VND.
* Nghe An Health Department requires strict implementation of regulations on referral and hospital transfer.
Recently, people in Nghe An in particular and provinces and cities across the country in general have expressed many opinions reflecting that the procedures for transferring hospitals and routes are still difficult, suggesting that flexibility and convenience should be created for the people.
In Official Dispatch No. 4007/SYT-NVY dated December 7, 2023 of the Department of Health on the proper implementation of regulations on referral to facilitate people, Nghe An Health Department has directed medical examination and treatment facilities to strictly implement regulations on referral and hospital transfer; at the same time, requiring facilities not to "keep" patients; ensuring the rights of patients.
* With the goal of ensuring security and order in the area, serving people to enjoy Tet and welcome Spring, from December 15, 2023 to February 29, 2024, Nghe An Provincial Police will simultaneously launch attacks to suppress all types of crimes...
On the morning of December 15, at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh City, Nghe An Provincial Police organized a launching ceremony to attack and suppress crime, ensure traffic safety and order, and prevent and fight fires before, during and after the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024.
