Focus on propaganda to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification

Director of Kien Giang Department of Culture and Sports Nguyen Van Sau reported on preparations for activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

On the afternoon of April 10, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho chaired a meeting to inspect preparations for activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

Concluding the meeting, comrade Le Trung Ho acknowledged the proactive participation of relevant units in implementing the plan to organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Vice Chairman of the Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to continue to thoroughly grasp, propagate andeducate the entire Party, people and army about the stature, value and great historical significance of the resistance war against the US, saving the country, the great victory in the spring of 1975, liberating the South and reunifying the country.

Continue to educate the nation on the tradition and morality of remembering the source of water when drinking water; honor and show gratitude to heroes, martyrs, comrades and compatriots who heroically sacrificed their blood and bones, devoted their whole lives to the cause of national liberation, national reunification, building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland; create solidarity, unity and high responsibility within the entire Party, consensus among all classes of people, continue to promote the achievements of the revolution, build a rich and beautiful homeland and country.

Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee Le Trung Ho emphasized that organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification is a common task of the entire political system. Therefore, agencies and members of the organizing committee should promote a sense of responsibility, especially the presiding agencies should proactively review the content and work, and continue to complete the assigned tasks.

According to the Department of Culture and Sports of Kien Giang province, preparations for organizing activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification have been basically completed.
