Press meeting to inform about Do Temple Festival 2025

On the morning of April 10, the People's Committee of Tu Son city held a press conference to inform about the Do Temple festival program in 2025. The event attracted the participation of many reporters from central and local press agencies.

Overview of the press conference

This year's Do Temple Festival is organized at the provincial level, to celebrate the 1015th anniversary of Ly Thai To - Ly Cong Uan's coronation as Emperor, opening the glorious Ly Dynasty in the history of the nation. The festival takes place from April 7 to 16, 2025 (ie from the 10th to the 19th of the third lunar month) at the following spaces: Do Temple Special National Relic Site; Dinh Bang Communal House; Ly Thai To Park Area; Le Quang Dao Memorial Site; Hanaka Paris Ocean Park Urban Area.

The ceremony was solemnly held with traditional rituals such as: palanquin procession, festival opening ceremony, Mother Goddess procession, Proclamation of the capital transfer ceremony, incense offering ceremony in memory of the Ly dynasty kings and the 1015th anniversary of King Ly Thai To's coronation on the evening of April 16 at Do Temple... The notable highlight was the 1015th anniversary of King Ly Thai To's coronation combined with receiving the titles: Certificate of ranking as a special national relic of Dinh Bang communal house; Certificate of ranking as a national relic of comrade Le Quang Dao Memorial House and the national treasure "Hoang De Chi Bao" gold seal of Nam Hong Royal Museum. Within the framework of the ceremony, there was a special art program with the theme "Imprint of the Ly dynasty in Kinh Bac homeland" and fireworks display to celebrate.

The festival took place in a bustling atmosphere with a series of rich activities: The first international lantern festival was organized on a grand scale in Bac Ninh; OCOP fair of fine art wooden furniture and precious stones; opening of the walking street; Tourism and culinary festival with a scale of 100 booths; Exhibition of ornamental plants and antiques; Exhibition of art photos about Dinh Bang and Do Temple; Exhibition to collect public opinions on 10 symbolic works (logos) of Tu Son city; performances of Bac Ninh Quan Ho folk songs, Ca Tru, water puppetry, circus, military music, mass art performances... along with many sports activities and folk games... The festival activities are both an opportunity to pay tribute to ancestors and at the same time recreate a Bac Ninh in general and Tu Son in particular that is dynamic, modern, and rich in cultural traditions. All activities are organized free of charge to create conditions for people and tourists to visit, enjoy and experience.

At the meeting, representatives of press and media agencies requested Tu Son city to provide specific information about the time and location of some typical events at the Do Xuan At Ty Temple Festival 2025; a focal point to provide official information about the Festival to press agencies; solutions to ensure environmental sanitation, security and order, fire prevention, and food safety and hygiene at the festival...

The festival organizers also discussed frankly and answered questions raised by the press, and hoped that the press agencies would continue to accompany and promote the traditional beauty and activities taking place during the festival; introduce typical historical and cultural relics in the homeland of the Ly Dynasty and Tu Son city associated with achievements in socio -economic development... Thereby, contributing to promoting the unique cultural heritage of Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac to domestic and international friends, arousing national pride and developing sustainable tourism in Bac Ninh.
