The Green Infrastructure Project for Ethnic Minorities is expected to be funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and implemented from 2027 to 2032 in three provinces: Yen Bai, Ha Giang and Son La. The project aims to contribute to promoting socio-economic development, improving the transport and irrigation infrastructure system for mountainous areas, helping ethnic minorities in mountainous areas solve the problem of water security and food security. Facilitate traffic connections, enhance trade and cultural exchange. The project is expected to better exploit the potential advantages to develop local tourism towards green and sustainable growth in the context of increasingly negative impacts of climate change on all aspects of local socio-economic life.
