Nghe An promotes origin tourism tour in Ho Chi Minh City

Attending the event were Mr. Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, leaders of the Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion of provinces and cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An, An Giang, Bac Lieu, Ben Tre, Ca Mau, Tay Ninh, Quang Nam, Hue, Binh Thuan, Bac Giang, Cao Bang, Thai Nguyen, Vinh Phuc, Quang Ninh, Ha Tinh, Kon Tum.

The event aims to implement the Socio-Economic Development Cooperation Agreement between Ho Chi Minh City and a number of localities in the North and North Central regions in 2023 and the period 2024-2025; implement the Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Program of Nghe An province in 2024, especially towards the 134th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2024).

The conference was attended by more than 200 delegates from agencies, units, businesses and media agencies, newspapers in Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces/cities attending the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Festival 2024. The goal is to promote and introduce the tourism and service potentials of Nghe An to a large number of tourists in the Southern market.

The conference is also an opportunity for tourism businesses to meet and exchange tourism cooperation between localities through meeting spaces, sideline exhibition spaces... creating momentum for connecting and exchanging tourists. Organizing many roadshow activities such as conferences, promoting at booths at the Festival contributes to increasing the attraction of tourists exchange between the two markets of Nghe An, neighboring localities with Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces and cities via air routes associated with inter-regional tours and especially homecoming tours.

This is an opportunity for Nghe An to promote the sample tours "Journey to the source - Nghe An's affection" to many promotion agencies, tourism service businesses and press agencies in Ho Chi Minh City.

Through the program, representatives from tourism businesses and tour organizers will introduce a series of sample tours, focusing on exploring culture and historical sites, typically the special national historical site - the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh, the Truong Bon - Do Luong national historical site and famous tourist destinations of Nghe An and its vicinity.

The sample tours will be designed to meet the diverse needs of tourists, from historical tours to eco-tourism and community tourism experiences in Nghe An province. This is also an opportunity for businesses to meet and introduce their products and services at the conference. From traditional tours to new and unique travel experiences, these products and services will help customers have an overview of the special travel experiences that Nghe An brings.

Also at the Conference, there were discussions and cooperation agreements between tourism associations such as Nghe An Tourism Association signed a cooperation agreement with Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Association and Mekong Delta Provinces Tourism Association. This created a strong connection between tourism businesses and organizations to promote sustainable development for the tourism industry of localities through roads and air routes.
