Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 returns

According to the plan of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the fourth Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2025 will take place from April 15 to May 2 nationwide.

The opening ceremony is scheduled to be held on April 17 in Ho Chi Minh City.

With books, enter the era of national growth

The organizers said that some messages of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 are: "Reading culture - Connecting the community", "Entering the era of national growth with books", "Reading books - enriching knowledge, nurturing aspirations, promoting innovation and creativity".

Accordingly, the implementation of activities of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025 is associated with the implementation of political tasks and major holidays in 2025 of the country, sectors and localities; promoting the value of books and reading culture in the community; determining the responsibilities of all levels, sectors and localities for developing reading culture.

Organizing Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day needs to combine traditional activities with modern methods following the development trend of digital transformation.

In addition, it is necessary to effectively promote books, honor typical groups and individuals in publishing activities, develop reading culture in the media to widely spread the value of books and reading culture; connect domestic and international readers.
