
Chau Phong Commune, Tan Chau Town, An Giang Province, has a natural area of 2,214 hectares, of which 1,674 hectares is agricultural land. Here, the Kinh and Cham ethnic groups have lived together and been closely associated with each other for generations. Of which, the Cham people account for about 24%, living concentrated in 3 hamlets: Phum Soai, Chau Giang and Hoa Long, with 1,304 households and 6,141 people. The people's main economic activities are agricultural production, trade - services and tourism.
