On April 30 - the fourth day of the holiday, eco-tourism areas such as My Khanh, Ong De, Can Tho Eco Resort... in Phong Dien district, Can Tho city were crowded with visitors.
A representative of My Khanh eco-tourism area said that this year's holiday, in addition to small attractions such as circuses, restaurants, ancient houses... this place also recreates a rural market with dozens of stalls selling rustic dishes.
"Despite the hot weather, the number of visitors is double that of normal days. Because the holiday lasts five days, people have more time and choices," said a representative of My Khanh tourist area.

Ms. Phan Thi Hong Tuoi, living in Ninh Kieu district, just had a fun trip here and said: "I thought that people would not go out much due to the hot weather, but it was so crowded. Everyone was sweating but happy and excited."
Speaking with Giao thong Newspaper, Mr. Vo Thanh Giup, Director of the Center for Trade - Tourism Promotion and Monument Management of Phong Dien district, said that the number of visitors to the district's eco-tourism areas during this holiday is estimated to be higher than during the Lunar New Year and 2-3 times higher than normal days.
"Tourist areas have invested more, taking care of each product for their facilities. In addition to existing tourism products, some areas also have special events for this holiday. That is one of the reasons to attract visitors," said Mr. Giup.
Phong Dien district currently has 65 tourist attractions and historical and cultural relics. Of these, three are recognized as typical delta-level tourist attractions by the Mekong Delta Tourism Association, and five are recognized as typical city-level tourist attractions by the Can Tho Tourism Association.
