On December 13-14, within the framework of the Project "Strengthening Juvenile Justice in Vietnam for the period 2022-2026", the Vietnam Lawyers Association in collaboration with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) organized a training course on juvenile-friendly and gender-sensitive legal advice for 35 legal consultants and collaborators of legal advice centers in 14 northern provinces and cities.
Over the years, UNICEF has supported the Vietnam Bar Association in carrying out many activities to enhance the capacity of the Association's staff at all levels in providing juvenile-friendly legal advice.
In 2023, UNICEF will continue to coordinate with the Association to complete training materials on juvenile-friendly legal advice and organize 02 training sessions to improve the capacity of legal consultants and collaborators of the Vietnam Lawyers Association.
Following the training on 13-14 December, a second training is scheduled to be held at the end of December for legal consultants in the central provinces. This activity is funded by the project “Ending Violence against Women and Girls in Vietnam” (DFAT).
