(CLO) On the morning of March 28, the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association organized a training course on "Skills in producing and developing press content, applying artificial intelligence AI". The program attracted more than 100 members, reporters, and editors from press agencies in the province to participate.
The training course took place over two days, March 28-29, under the guidance of lecturer Ngo Tran Thinh, Head of Multimedia Department, Ho Chi Minh City Television (HTV) News Center. During the program, trainees were exposed to knowledge and skills in producing and developing press content on digital platforms, as well as applying artificial intelligence to optimize workflows.
Overview of the training class
One of the key areas of focus was hands-on use of the Gemini AI tool. The instructor demonstrated how to apply Gemini to aspects such as searching for and verifying information, generating news headlines and summaries, assisting with writing and editing, and producing multimedia content such as videos, infographics, and podcasts.

In addition to practicing directly on AI tools, students also participated in discussions and shared experiences in applying technology in journalism. The lecturer emphasized that AI is a supporting tool and cannot replace the role of journalists, while promoting ethical responsibility when using technology in content creation.
The training course is a practical activity of the Nghe An Provincial Journalists Association, contributing to improving the professional qualifications and skills of members, thereby promoting the development of local journalism in the digital age.
