According to statistics from the independent box office website Box Office Vietnam, during the last 3 days of the weekend (March 21 to 23), Ghost in the Shell has been firmly in the number 1 position on the revenue chart for the third consecutive week. The film earned more than 11.4 billion VND with 129,687 tickets sold and 5,578 screenings.

As of 9am on March 24, the film has grossed nearly 140 billion VND. However, if calculated according to the revenue rankings on March 24, the film is currently behind Death Hole .
Director Christopher Nolan's blockbuster, despite only having 32 screenings, has already grossed over VND200 million. The reason is that the film was only shown in IMAX format, so ticket prices are quite high. This re-release has now grossed over VND30 billion, of which the revenue over the past 3 days of the weekend was over VND2.6 billion.
The revenue in the 3-day weekend of Possessed was also nearly double that of the live-action version of Snow White when it was officially released on March 21.
Director Marc Webb's film, a remake of the 1937 animated version, only grossed nearly VND5.7 billion with 53,231 tickets sold and 3,240 screenings.
At the North American box office, the film earned $43 million in its opening weekend. Along with $44.3 million in international sales, the film now has a global total of $87.3 million.

The next two positions in the top 5 box office revenue in Vietnam last week belonged to two Korean films, Extremely Funny Killer and Extremely Difficult Job, with revenue of 3.8 and 3.2 million USD respectively.
Last week, there were also 2 films with revenue exceeding 1 billion VND: Nha gia tien (over 2.4 billion VND) and Lac troi (over 1.2 billion VND).
This week, the box office rankings promise to change direction.

Among the upcoming projects, the most notable is The Yin and Yang Road , a horror-romance-comedy film directed by Hoang Tuan Cuong.
The film revolves around the story of an unemployed graduate who, in order to make a living, secretly hires a female corpse to be transported to the Central Highlands in the middle of the night without his father's knowledge. On the journey, he is forced to face a supernatural world full of ghosts, a mysterious girl he has feelings for, and a dark truth connected to the ambulance he is driving.
The film, starring actors Bach Cong Khanh, Lan Thy, Minh Hoang, Tuan Dung, Meritorious Artist Dai Nghia, Meritorious Artist Hanh Thuy... officially premiered on March 28, with early screenings starting at 6 p.m. on March 26.

Also in the horror genre is another movie - Horror Ride .
This week's concert film category welcomes two films : Imagine Dragons: Echoes from the Hollywood Bowl and IU Concert: The Glorious Moment .
