The program is a regular activity, deeply humane, and has been maintained by the provincial Border Guard for many years. The students receiving the scholarships are all from disadvantaged backgrounds, but have a strong will and remarkable academic achievements. Each scholarship is worth 4.5 million VND/school year and will be awarded regularly until the students complete high school.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Border Guard Command and the Border Guard Stations of Lien Huong and Hoa Minh directly awarded 19 scholarships to outstanding students. This is not only a practical source of support, but also a word of encouragement, adding confidence and determination to the students on their journey to conquer knowledge.
On behalf of the students receiving scholarships, Nguyen Thuy Kieu, a student of class 11D14 at Tuy Phong High School, emotionally expressed her deep gratitude to the officers and soldiers of the Border Guard.
"The companionship of the soldiers over the years has helped me and many other friends have more conditions to study, and is a valuable spiritual motivation to overcome difficulties in life," Kieu emotionally shared.

Speaking at the program, Deputy Political Commissar of Binh Thuan Provincial Border Guard, Colonel Dinh Van Bo acknowledged and praised the students' spirit of overcoming difficulties and rising up. He affirmed that despite many hardships in life, each student has strived, clearly defined their learning goals and aspirations for the future.
Colonel Dinh Van Bo also expressed his hope that, through the support of the provincial Border Guard and local authorities, these scholarships will provide more motivation and help students in coastal border areas to continue to persevere on the path of education, thereby contributing to their homeland and country in the future.
Launched in 2016, the program “Helping children go to school” launched by the Border Guard Command of Binh Thuan province has become a solid support for hundreds of poor students in coastal border areas. Many students after completing high school have passed the entrance exams to universities and colleges, gradually realizing their dreams, contributing to spreading the humanistic meaning of the program.
