Exhibition of excellent paintings by members of the Fine Arts Association at the Provincial Literature and Arts Association.
During the 12 months of 2023, at any time, the Fine Arts Association and the Thai Binh Literature and Arts Association will have activities aimed at members such as organizing direct painting trips, creating favorable conditions for artists in the Association to grasp information, participate in exhibitions, competitions, have the opportunity to exchange and learn from experiences with artists from all over the country... Right from the beginning of the year, the Association organized the opening of the pen with Nam Dinh artists in some locations outside the province and at the special national monument of the tomb and temple of the Tran Dynasty kings, Tien Duc commune (Hung Ha). Thereby, many valuable works of art were collected among the 52 paintings displayed at the "Spring Colors" art exhibition organized by the Thai Binh Literature and Arts Association at the Tran Temple Festival, attracting the attention of the public, creating excitement for artists on the first day of spring. In addition to the direct drawing activities in the warm spring weather, many artists of the Association participated in the buffalo decoration drawing contest on the occasion of the Tich Dien festival in Doi Son (Ha Nam) - a unique cultural feature that contributes to encouraging the development of agricultural production and building new rural areas. Notably, in this contest, there were 3 artists from Thai Binh who won first, second, and encouragement prizes, encouraging artists in the Association to compete in creating and producing many quality works of art to serve the public.
The propaganda painting "Uncle Ho always cares about children in the border mountainous areas" by artist Do Nhu Diem was awarded the C prize on the topic "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style in the period 2021 - 2023" at the ceremony commemorating the 65th anniversary of Uncle Ho's third visit to Thai Binh.
Painter Nguyen Quoc Viet, Chairman of the Fine Arts Association, shared: The association currently has 45 members, who are always enthusiastic in participating in creative activities and exhibitions to serve political tasks and the public who love art. Many activities took place in the past year such as participating in creative camps in 4 border districts of Ha Giang province, drawing in Hung Ha district with local art teachers, and creating in Pu Luong (Thanh Hoa), Quang Yen town (Quang Ninh)... Despite financial difficulties, the members are always active and proactive in creating resources to participate in drawing in and outside the province, and actively sending works to exhibitions with the message of improving the public's aesthetics, forming humane people in modern life.
Many domestic and international exhibitions that Thai Binh artists participated in include: the "Spring Sunshine" exhibition at the Hai Phong Fine Arts and Cinema Exhibition Center, the "Thai Binh - Alluvial Land" exhibition, the 28th Red River Delta Fine Arts Exhibition, an exhibition at a museum in Korea, the 2023 International Fine Arts Exhibition with the theme "Living with Heritage" at Hue University... In particular, artist Ta Van Quan of the Association held his 3rd solo exhibition in Hanoi, marking his artistic creation journey. In addition, a number of artists participated in the propaganda painting contest "Building the style of a brave, humane, serving the people" People's Public Security officer organized by the Ministry of Public Security, winning high awards such as artist Do Nhu Diem winning the A prize, artist Cao Tuan Viet winning the B prize, artist Do Duc Do winning the consolation prize. For many years, painter Do Nhu Diem and painter Cao Tuan Viet have affirmed their reputation and the quality of their propaganda paintings through consecutive national awards, contributing to the propaganda tasks of the province as well as the region and the whole country, and being admired by art lovers in the country.

Painter Cao Tuan Viet, Fine Arts Association said: As one of the senior members of the Association, I am excited because many young painters are very active, dynamic and enthusiastic about their profession, which is a great hope for the Association. In addition, with the close attention of the leaders of the Literature and Arts Association, the Fine Arts Association for its members has created a high-quality creative competition movement. I am pleased with the Association's practical creative organization activities in 2023, which have traveled to many places, many provinces and cities, and each trip has been effective and practical for the professional activities of the members. Those things make older painters like me and painter Do Nhu Diem strive even harder to contribute to art. Hopefully in the coming time, in order for Thai Binh artists to achieve even greater achievements, the Association will have a specific creative plan for each competition and each painting exhibition, deploy and mobilize the participation of all members, not only practically enhancing the spirit of solidarity but also creating a widespread and widespread movement.
The success of 2023 is the basis for the Fine Arts Association to set new goals to promote the capacity and creativity of its members, focusing on encouraging the spirit of creation, honoring the achievements of artistic activities and encouraging artists to actively introduce and spread new works to art lovers in and outside the province, following the footsteps of previous generations to build Thai Binh fine arts to develop more and more.
