Forever the heroic song of the country

These days of April, the streets are bright with flags and flowers, and people's hearts are filled with the song "The Country is Full of Joy".

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation Day of Binh Thuan (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the Liberation Day of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), many generations returned to the school where teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh stopped to teach before leaving to find a way to save the country to review the historical days and look at the photo collection "President Ho Chi Minh and the cause of national liberation".

Many delegations from inside and outside the province came to Duc Thanh School on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the homeland.

For every Vietnamese, April 30, 1975 is a great historical day. It was the day the country was cleared of enemies. After more than half a century, the photos capturing the wartime moments have become priceless souvenirs for future generations to follow and be proud of. The images of the fighting spirit and joy of the army and people of the capital Hanoi in October 1954 after 9 years of protracted resistance; the will of the youth of the whole country in November 1971; the American aircraft shot down in the sky of Hanoi in the "Dien Bien Phu in the air" battle in December 1972; comrades in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign command exchanging combat plans in April 1975; or the images of each army marching to liberate Hue, Da Nang, Buon Me Thuot in 1975... Besides, tourists and people also see a resilient, indomitable Binh Thuan in the fight against the enemy; The responsible and courageous decisions of generations of local Party leaders made in special circumstances...

Mr. Nguyen Van Ro was moved when seeing valuable pictures and documents about Uncle Ho.

With 130 images and documents through the photo exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh and the cause of national liberation", every Binh Thuan resident is moved to remember Uncle Ho, remember the simple but warm old Father who devoted his whole life to the revolution, to the people, to the country. The close image of him with teenagers and children; President Ho Chi Minh working in the Viet Bac War Zone in 1951 and with the guards increasing production at ATK Dinh Hoa, Thai Nguyen; President Ho Chi Minh taking care of the garden and fish at the Presidential Palace...

Although he has passed away, he has left our nation an extremely valuable heritage.

The life and career of President Ho Chi Minh have become a revolutionary symbol, arousing aspirations and beliefs for the Vietnamese people and progressive people around the world in the struggle for independence, freedom, peace, democracy and social progress. Although he has passed away, he has left our nation an extremely valuable legacy: the Ho Chi Minh era; Ho Chi Minh's career; Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style. Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style are the crystallization of the fine traditions of our nation and the quintessence of human culture; a shining example for all Vietnamese people to learn and follow.

Mr. Nguyen Van Ro (Binh Tan commune, Bac Binh district) said: Through authentic historical images of Uncle Ho and the struggle for national independence, it helps generations appreciate the value of peace more. Every citizen always remembers Uncle Ho - the one who devoted his whole life to the revolution, to the people, to the country.

Tran Le Anh Thu (class 10A4, Phan Boi Chau High School) shared: I have heard many times about Uncle Ho, about the Liberation of the South, and the National Reunification Day at school, but this is the first time I have seen real photos of the historical moments of the nation. The more proud and respectful we are, the more we feel responsible for our homeland and country in the future.

The country is filled with joy today, we are grateful to Uncle Ho - the one who started the revolutionary stream and countless heroes and martyrs who sacrificed their blood and youth for national independence.
