Born into a farming family, but Thuy and her sisters in the family were cared for by their parents, creating all conditions for them to study properly. After graduating from high school, Thuy passed the entrance exam and became a student of the Faculty of Business Administration, Hung Vuong University. After completing her university program, Thuy decided to return to her hometown and get married early. At that time, Thuy's husband worked as a truck driver. In the first years of their marriage, being busy with young children, Thuy only stayed at home to help her husband with some work. But realizing that if she continued like that, she would waste the knowledge she had learned in school, and her economy would depend only on her husband, so Thuy discussed with her husband and with the help of both families, decided to do business. Since the decision, the family has also tried their hand at many products: tables and chairs, selling electrical and water appliances... mainly to serve the needs of the family. But with the time spent driving and transporting construction materials, Thuy's husband also aimed to open a concrete brick factory.

In 2016, with the support of the family, the couple opened a workshop, hired workers and started selling the first bricks. Thuy shared: “We explored and learned from the experiences of those who went before. Importantly, at that time, there were not many people producing concrete bricks in the locality, and my family had a source of raw materials that we had known for many years, so it was quite convenient. The products were sold as soon as they were made, so my husband and I were excited.”

At the end of 2017, when the brick factory was basically stable, her family continued to expand the electricity, water and sanitary equipment business. The ideas were continuously realized, causing the capital to rotate continuously, which sometimes made the couple worried. But with the mindset that once they decided to do something, they had to do it thoroughly, so whether changing direction or expanding the business lines, she always tried to be meticulous, choosing quality products but with prices suitable for the conditions of local people.

Ms. Thuy shared: “Although I do not work for a government agency or enterprise, the knowledge learned in school is very helpful in my family business. From product management, output, input, market research as well as market development. With concrete bricks, my family tries to form a closed production chain to create quality products at reasonable prices.”

Over 30 years old, currently the owner of a brick factory and a "first or second" largest business store in the commune, with healthy and well-behaved children, Ms. Thuy feels satisfied with the decision to return to her hometown with her husband to develop the economy. Choosing the service business, she always keeps in mind that the customer is king, whether it is just a brick or high-value sanitary equipment, she tries her best to bring it to consumers. In addition to family work, she also regularly participates in activities in residential areas and organizations, contributing to the overall development of My Luong commune.
