Kim Ngan said she was very proud to be honored as an outstanding Youth Union official of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. The main reason she achieved that was because she followed Uncle Ho's example.
Always looking at President Ho Chi Minh as an example, Vice President of the Vietnam Student Association of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics Nguyen Vo Kim Ngan said that she wants to learn from Uncle Ho by starting from every small thing in the most natural way.
See myself more mature and stronger
Ngan remembers that in her third year, she was almost overloaded with studying, doing an internship, and working for the Youth Union at the same time. She wondered whether she should continue participating in the Youth Union because her main task was still studying.

The Union is her passion and the environment that helps her grow up, have more motivation to study and love life more.
"Actually, the difficulties I encountered were nothing. I just needed to calm down to think and solve the problem more scientifically, and everything would be better," Ngan confided.
Reading many books about Uncle Ho, the girl felt motivated. No longer confused when having to deal with many things at the same time, Ngan handled everything more scientifically, clearly separating between studying and working at the Youth Union.
Trusted to be the vice president of the Student Union, Ngan is one of the few to be honored as the most outstanding Youth Union - Association Officer of Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics in 2023.
"There are many talented students in the Youth Union and student movement at school. Being able to represent and hold high the torch symbolizing the enthusiasm and dedication of the Youth Union and Student Association staff is a great honor," Kim Ngan boasted.

Milestones in life
Ngan said she still didn't quite believe it when she saw her name as a delegate attending the Ho Chi Minh City Advanced Youth Congress following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2024 (taking place on May 11 and 12).
For her, learning from Uncle Ho is something she feels she needs to do to discipline herself. Being recognized as a model of learning and following Uncle Ho is truly a milestone in her life, not just an honor. Ngan said she feels she needs to try harder.
One thing that impressed her and she felt she could learn most from Uncle Ho was his ability to learn foreign languages.
Coming to this congress, Kim Ngan wants to bring her thoughts on issues related to the lives of youth and students, and wishes to share and discuss with other young delegates.
The female student leader hopes to educate young people to care more about national history, culture, political and social issues...
"These are important, but there are currently difficulties in reaching out, attracting students to participate and actively respond," Ngan said.
