Similar to previous years, the number of tourists visiting and experiencing Moc Chau increased dramatically compared to normal days, many accommodation establishments were fully booked from the 2nd to the 5th day of Tet.
Talking to Dan Tri reporter, Ms. Dinh Thi Huong, Head of the Department of Culture and Information of Moc Chau town said that from January 25 to February 2 (26 to 5 of Tet), the total number of visitors to Moc Chau was 105,000, with social revenue estimated at about 136.5 billion VND.

Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong (in Dong Da, Hanoi) said that this is the second year her family has chosen Moc Chau as a spring travel destination.
"This is the most beautiful season in Moc Chau of the year because there are many flowers blooming: mustard flowers, plum blossoms, cherry blossoms. The tea hills and valleys seem to invite visitors to come and enjoy. The atmosphere here is also extremely pleasant, my family has moments of leisure and relaxation to start a new year," said Ms. Huong.

Ms. Viet Ha (in Van Ho, Son La) said that Moc Chau is in the season of beautiful plum blossoms, so tourists from neighboring localities and provinces flock to the area. Traffic on the road has also increased.
According to Ms. Ha, on the morning of February 2, the roads from Hanoi - Son La and Son La - Hanoi were difficult for vehicles to travel.
"The section through the old forest of Hoa Binh (bordering Van Ho) was jammed due to a traffic accident. Our car was almost stationary for nearly 2 hours, and by early afternoon it was still moving very slowly," said Ms. Ha.
On many online forums, at noon on February 2, besides posts about Moc Chau's scenery during Lunar New Year, many people updated the traffic situation in this area.
"Early afternoon, the traffic on the way back to Hanoi through Long Luong was still jammed, cars were standing still. My family had been here for nearly 3 hours, should we go back to Moc Chau to continue playing until the traffic jam is over?", Ms. Luu Thi Minh shared.

Many families said that the Long Luong - Van Ho area was jammed in both directions, forcing tourists to stop their vehicles and wait for 2-3 hours. The "suffocating" traffic jam made many people tired on their spring trip or on their way home.
According to Ms. Ngoc Ha's update, tourists traveling from Moc Chau to Hanoi, by 4 p.m., traffic through Deo Da Trang had eased and vehicles were able to move.
"Before that, the traffic jam lasted for many kilometers, at one point my family had to stop for more than half an hour. Many people in other cars got impatient and got out onto the road to wait. Some cars had to turn around and go another way," said Ms. Ha.
According to the representative of the Department of Culture and Information of Moc Chau town, to welcome tourists from everywhere, the locality has organized many activities with rich and diverse forms, suitable to the actual conditions of the locality.
