North and South increased sharply

Pig prices today, February 12, 2025, witnessed a wave of price increases again in provinces and cities in the North and South. Many localities reached over 70,000 VND/kg.

Northern region

The price of live pigs today (February 12, 2025) in the Northern region continued to increase in localities such as Lao Cai, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Nam Dinh, Phu Tho and all increased by 1,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is fluctuating between 70,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. Thus, the price of live pigs of 69,000 VND/kg has disappeared from this area when Lao Cai and Nam Dinh both increased their prices this morning. Phu Tho and Bac Giang are the two localities with the highest price of live pigs in the area at 72,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

On the contrary, the price of live pigs today (February 12, 2025) in the Central Highlands region suddenly calmed down after 2 consecutive increases in the provinces and cities.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region remains between 68,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. Of which, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong have the highest price of live pigs in the region at 72,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Along with the North, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (February 12, 2025) continued to record an increase in prices in provinces and cities such as Binh Phuoc, An Giang, Vinh Long, Kien Giang, Tien Giang, Ben Tre and Soc Trang and all increased by 1,000 VND/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still fluctuating between 70,000 - 73,000 VND/kg. Thus, the price of live pigs of 69,000 VND in this area also disappeared when the two provinces of Kien Giang and Vinh Long simultaneously increased prices this morning. On the contrary, Dong Nai province set a new peak price in the country at 73,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today (February 12, 2025) recorded an increase again in localities in the North and South. Currently, the price of live pigs is being traded in the range of 68,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.
