Dong Giang armed forces report their achievements at the Mast Relic Site (Ka Dang)

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the tradition of the Vietnam People's Army (March 28, 1935 - March 28, 2025), the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the Quang Nam Provincial Armed Forces (May 4, 1945 - May 4, 2025), on March 25, the Dong Giang District Military Command held an incense offering ceremony at the Cot Buom relic site, Ka Dang commune (Dong Giang).

Here, officers, soldiers and military personnel of Dong Giang district respectfully offered incense to the ancestors who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and reunification.

Reporting to those who have fallen for national independence, the Dong Giang district military force said that over the past years, the entire force has performed well in local military defense work; advised on the successful completion of defense zone drills, natural disaster prevention, search and rescue, and combat readiness training. Well implemented the work of mobilization, military recruitment, military recruitment, education and training in national defense and security knowledge; built defense zones, built a national defense posture associated with a solid people's security posture; combined socio-economic development with strengthening national defense and security, meeting the requirements of the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new situation. The district military force has always been the core force in preventing the COVID-19 pandemic, helping people overcome the consequences of natural disasters and floods, repairing traffic works and irrigation systems to serve production. In addition, the Dong Giang District Military also supported 320 million VND and 150 working days to build 4 gratitude houses for families with revolutionary contributions and soldiers facing housing difficulties... Thereby, the quality of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" has been promoted brightly in the hearts of the people.

Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Thang - Commander of the District Military Command said that the efforts of the Dong Giang District Military Command have been recognized: in 2021, 2022, 2024, the Party Committee achieved clean and strong status; the Ministry of National Defense awarded a certificate of merit (in 2023); the Military Region 5 Command awarded an emulation flag (in 2021) and the title "Determined to Win Unit" (in 2022, 2024), the Provincial People's Committee awarded a certificate of merit (in 2023).
