In Louis Vuitton's “Horizons Never End” campaign, Lionel Messi lounges around the departure lounge, ready for an inspiring journey.

This campaign by Louis Vuitton celebrates the classic Horizon suitcase collection, representing the spirit of endless travel that has been associated with the French fashion brand's more than 160-year history.

The promotional photos were taken by fashion photographer and filmmaker Glen Luchford. In the photo, football legend Lionel Messi sits in an airport terminal, accompanied by a Horizon suitcase and a Keepall travel bag, both made of Monogram Canvas - the symbol of the French fashion house - next to a Monogram-printed football.

“I like this suitcase not only because of the design but also because of the comfort, the convenient handle and the way it moves easily on the wheels. This is my companion on trips,” Lionel Messi shared about the Horizon suitcase, a classic design by Louis Vuitton and designer Marc Newson - one of the most influential contemporary designers today.

The Horizon suitcase featured in the campaign is a tribute to the spirit of travel and Louis Vuitton’s trunk-making heritage. First launched in 2016, the design marks a milestone in the French fashion house’s travel line thanks to its sophisticated design, durability and superior functionality.

In particular, the Horizon suitcase is considered a breakthrough innovation when it is made from super thin, light and highly elastic composite plastic, with the iconic Monogram Canvas layer on the outside. Each corner of the suitcase is protected by a layer of premium leather, using the same technique as on the famous Louis Vuitton trunks.

Each season, the Horizon suitcase is given a new look with a variety of finishes and materials. In addition to the iconic Monogram Canvas, the Horizon suitcase is also crafted from Damier Canvas, Taurillon cowhide, Epi leather and decorated with seasonal emblematic motifs.
