On the evening of April 2, in Ho Chi Minh City, designer Le Thanh Hoa organized the Resort 25 fashion show to introduce a new collection called Golden Heritage .

The collection is also his master's thesis that helped him achieve valedictorian status in the applied arts major at Van Lang University (HCMC).

Champa culture through fashion perspective

The Golden Heritage collection was designed by designer Le Thanh Hoa, inspired by Champa sculpture techniques.

With a fashion perspective, he skillfully incorporated sophisticated patterns such as the Garuda bird, lotus petals, elephant images... considered typical symbols of Champa art into the design.

These motifs recreate the golden beauty of the past, while connecting ancient cultural values and modern fashion.

Designer Le Thanh Hoa said the Golden Heritage collection has 70 designs, showing a variety of shapes from mermaid dresses, jumpsuits, A-line dresses... to mini dresses.

Many designs have sharp cuts and sexy cut-out details. The highlight of the design is the technique of hand-sewing, hand embroidery, gold plating, and ripping to create fringes, creating a new material.

Not simply new dress models, each design in the collection is an artistic story, contributing to honoring Vietnamese fashion.

Thanh Hang as vedette

To have a 90-minute show, designer Le Thanh Hoa spent 1 year researching and learning about Champa culture. After that, he and his team spent more than 5 months creating the collection.

Ma Chau silk is the main material used by Le Thanh Hoa in combination with gold plating techniques and many other processing methods to create new materials.

70 designs selected from over 200 carefully executed drawings.

Participating in the collection show were models Thanh Hang, Lan Khue, Minh Tu, Minh Trieu, along with beauty queens Luong Thuy Linh, Nguyen Dinh Nhu Van, Le Hoang Phuong, and runners-up Nguyen Le Ngoc Thao, Nguyen Quynh Anh, and Vu Thuy Quynh.

Miss Le Hoang Phuong took on the role of first face, opening the collection in a sparkling outfit combined with a silk scarf.

Beauties Minh Trieu, Minh Tu, Luong Thuy Linh, Lan Khue and Thanh Hang appeared to close the show amid enthusiastic cheers from the audience.
