The 2nd Da Nang Asian Film Festival is directed by the Da Nang People's Committee, chaired by the Vietnam Film Promotion and Development Association (VFDA), coordinated by the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and related units.

This is a special cultural event to select and honor outstanding cinematic works, rich in humanistic values, with new discoveries and unique artistic expression.

The film festival is also a place to encourage new talents of Vietnamese and Asian cinema; at the same time, widely introduce to the public new cinema works with high content and artistic value of Asian and Vietnamese cinema and selected films of world cinema.

The 2nd Da Nang Asian Film Festival will also feature international seminars and talks; talent incubation workshops, and film screenings on the theme of Da Nang City selected by the locality.

In the two categories of Asian films competing and Vietnamese films competing at the 2024 Da Nang Asian Film Festival, many awards will be given such as: best film, best director, best script, best male actor, best female actor...
