Departure ceremony for the Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament

BTO-On the morning of September 30, the Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) held a ceremony to send off the Binh Thuan Trade Union Football Team to participate in the 2024 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament.

The Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation and leaders of departments, branches, and sponsoring enterprises wish the Binh Thuan Trade Union Football Team the best results in the competition.

Attending the event were Mr. Nguyen Linh Nhon - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr. Do Huu Quy - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor and members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, leaders of the Trade Union at the level directly above the grassroots level with union members participating in the football team, along with 22 members and athletes of the football team.

The Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament is jointly organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) and Tuoi Tre newspaper in the format of 7-a-side football and the competition rules issued by the VFF. The tournament is implemented according to the Labor Federation system on a national scale, gathering more than 60 participating teams - representing provincial/municipal Trade Unions, industry Trade Unions and enterprises nationwide.

The Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor requested the Binh Thuan Trade Union Football Team to always comply with and comply with the tournament's regulations.

The 2024 Vietnam Workers and Civil Servants Football Tournament will have 2 rounds. The qualifying round will be held from September to October 2024 in 4 regions: Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Nghe An, and Bac Ninh. The 16 best teams in the qualifying round will qualify for the national finals, taking place in November in Hanoi. Of which, the Binh Thuan Trade Union Football Team belongs to Region 3, with the participation of 12 teams, competing in Binh Duong province from October 4 to 6, 2024. According to the draw results, the Binh Thuan Trade Union Team is in Group A with Long An 1 Trade Union and Rubber Trade Union.

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and the Provincial Federation of Labor Standing Committee signed the two shirts and sent their best wishes to the athletes.

From the 1st Binh Thuan Provincial Trade Union Football Tournament in 2024, Binh Thuan Trade Union selected 16 talented and strong union members to form a football team to participate in the tournament, under the guidance of head coach Tran Thong Khai. At the departure ceremony, Mr. Do Huu Quy - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation praised the 22 team members, including 16 athletes and 6 officers and employees in charge of the training process, for their efforts and responsibility for the assigned tasks. At the same time, he hoped that the whole team would be calm, confident, and strive to compete for the best results.
