On the evening of April 18, in Ho Chi Minh City, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense and General Luong Tam Quang, Politburo member, Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Minister of Public Security co-chaired a comprehensive inspection of the training of the parade forces in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 / April 30, 2025).

Attending the comprehensive training inspection were comrades: General Nguyen Tan Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army , Deputy Minister of National Defense; Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense; Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

The training session was attended by the Army, Police, Militia and Self-Defense Forces, and the masses of Ho Chi Minh City. The training program consisted of two parts: the Party and State ceremonies and rituals performed by the Army, and the parade.

This is the first training session on Le Duan Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City to continue evaluating results, drawing experience from training work, and serving as a basis for units to continue training forces participating in the parade and marching in the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification to achieve the best results.

At the end of the training session, General Phan Van Giang congratulated and commended the initial achievements of the groups participating in the training session to prepare for the parade and march. The leaders and commanders of the agencies and units organized the forces participating in the parade and march to the South to ensure absolute safety, quickly stabilize all aspects, overcome difficulties, especially in climate and weather conditions to organize training and training immediately with increasingly improved quality.

Speaking about the experience of synthesizing training with the team of leaders of agencies and units, General Phan Van Giang emphasized: Through synthesizing training, in general, the blocks and forces participating in the parade and marching ensure fairly even quality for the Army, Police, and Militia. However, agencies and units need to pay special attention to the formation of soldiers during the parade to be cheerful, avoid excessive tension; study the arrangement of reasonable standing blocks between the Army and Police blocks, which can be interwoven according to color and force; pay attention to ensuring the distance between the blocks is appropriate, correct spacing, and correct regulations; adjust the conductor's standing position to suit the formation...

The Minister of National Defense noted that the commanders of agencies and units should encourage soldiers to continue to practice hard, improve quality, and determine their determination to successfully complete the task of marching and parading in the upcoming celebration.
