Ceremony to pay respect to heroic martyrs and President Ho Chi Minh on the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification

On the occasion of the 49th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2024), this morning, April 26, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province visited the heroic martyrs at the provincial martyrs' cemetery and visited President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan Branch.

Attending the ceremony were the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Vice Chairmen; members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Provincial National Assembly delegation; former members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; representatives of departments, branches, armed forces, city leaders and leaders of HTB district; Hong Son and Hong Liem communes. Provincial leaders burn incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs

49 years ago, under the leadership of the Party, the entire army and people of our country united in the struggle to liberate the South and unify the country. The victory of the General Offensive and Uprising in the Spring of 1975 opened an era of independence and freedom for the nation. Countless cadres and soldiers fought steadfastly and sacrificed heroically. In a solemn atmosphere, the provincial leaders and delegates laid wreaths, offered incense and observed a moment of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs. The delegates burned incense at the martyrs' graves.

After the ceremony, the delegation offered flowers, burned incense in memory and reported to Uncle Ho at the Ho Chi Minh Museum - Binh Thuan Branch.
