"Pink Spring - Red Hung King" Festival 2025

On the morning of January 12, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation (VBD) coordinated with Hung Vuong University and the Provincial General Hospital to organize the program "Pink Spring Festival - Red Color of Hung Vuong" in 2025.

The provincial Red Cross Association leaders presented scholarships to disadvantaged students of Hung Vuong University.

Attending the event were comrade Nguyen Thanh Tam - Provincial Party Committee member, Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society (CTR), representatives of a number of provincial departments and branches.

Delegates awarded certificates of merit to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the Red Cross and voluntary blood donation movements.

This year's "Red Spring Festival - Hung Vuong Red" program carries the message "Donate blood to save lives - Your life and mine" to further spread the meaning of donating blood to save lives, multiplying noble deeds, demonstrating compassion, tolerance and shared responsibility of each individual and organization.

At Hung Vuong University, in recent years, the Party Committee and school leaders have always paid attention to, directed and well organized the "Voluntary Blood Donation Day". Thereby, it has created a widespread movement, a spirit of volunteerism and humanity throughout the school, attracting a large number of staff, lecturers and students to participate; many members have actively donated blood many times and proactively mobilized union members and students to participate; affirming a high sense of responsibility to society, contributing to overcoming the serious blood shortage in hospitals. Promoting the achieved results, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors and the collective of staff, lecturers and students of the school are determined to join hands and join hands to further fan the flame of volunteerism, of compassion, love, and sharing precious drops of blood for our compatriots in serious illness, so that "each drop of blood given" will have "a life left behind".

On this occasion, the Provincial Red Cross Association awarded 40 scholarships worth a total of 20 million VND to disadvantaged students of Hung Vuong University. 15 groups and 210 individuals with outstanding achievements in the Red Cross Association's activities and propaganda, mobilization, humanitarian aid, overcoming the consequences of storm No. 3... were awarded by the Provincial Red Cross Association and Hung Vuong University.

This year’s “Red Spring Festival – Hung Vuong Red Color” program attracted more than 2,000 officials, lecturers, students of Hung Vuong University and volunteers who actively participated in the blood donation drive. The program aims to collect more than 1,200 units of blood to better serve the treatment and medical needs of patients before, during and after the Lunar New Year.

Also on the same day, the Provincial Red Cross Association visited and presented Tet gifts to families in the SOS Children's Village Viet Tri - a place that is nurturing and educating children in difficult circumstances, orphans, and homeless children with the desire to bring them a warmer and more fulfilling Tet.
