The actor said that even his biological mother and mother-in-law had conflicts. It was not until Le Duong Bao Lam's mother-in-law became seriously ill that the two sides were able to reconcile.

The actor himself also tried to mend the relationship between the two families by opening a restaurant so that both sets of parents could help him work.
