On February 3, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (HCMC Labor Federation) organized a ceremony to honor "Exemplary Party Members" in 2024 with the theme "Uncle Ho's City Workers, Firmly Confident in Continuing the Path", on the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the Party's founding (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024).
Comrade Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee attended.
Reviewing the tradition of celebrating the 94th anniversary of the Party's founding, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Phung Thai Quang emphasized that over the past 94 years, the Party has led the Vietnamese revolution to overcome all difficulties and challenges, going from one victory to another.
The team of workers and the city's Trade Union are proud of the tradition of the Saigon - Cho Lon - Gia Dinh - Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, with the spirit of "Innovation - Democracy - Solidarity - Development", the Trade Union and the team of workers in the city are increasingly aware of the historical mission of their class. From political awareness has been transformed into concrete actions to contribute to building the city, the country, building a clean and strong Party. Through the emulation movements in production and labor, along with many works, products, initiatives, and technical improvements, they have contributed positively to the socio-economic development of the city.
On this occasion, 76 exemplary party members were honored by the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation. According to Mr. Phung Thai Quang, these are the Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, Executive Committee members, and grassroots union members admitted in the 2021-2023 period.
“Through the practice of the workers' movement, you have matured in all aspects, constantly cultivated, trained and strived, demonstrated your enthusiasm and sense of responsibility, became exemplary models in labor production and were honored to join the Party's ranks,” Mr. Phung Thai Quang emphasized; at the same time, he hoped that each Party member would continue to cultivate and train their political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, industrial style, actively study to improve their professional qualifications and skills, and strive to excellently complete assigned tasks.
In addition, the grassroots trade union continues to pay attention to the work of discovering, nurturing, and introducing outstanding union members for the Party to consider and admit, especially workers in the non-state economic sector. At the same time, it focuses on organizing practical labor emulation movements for workers, civil servants, and laborers to respond to and implement; creating a training environment for each worker, civil servant, and laborer of Ho Chi Minh City to demonstrate their pioneering spirit in building and developing the city.
